What is the Autism Tissue Program? It is a program that informs people about the importance of brain tissue donation by maintaining a database of information about brain tissue available to researchers, provides national and international scientists with access to ATP tissue banks and related information and tracks research projects and keeps members of the autism community informed about research findings as well as new research. If you are a person with autism, or the relative or family member of some with autism, you have vital role to play. It involves making a difficult but crucial donation when someone with autism or a relative or family member passes away. That precious gift is brain tissue.
